Driving from Bern to Thoune I saw very special cloud formations over the Alps. I was not in a hurry, therefore I decided to take a detour over Gerzensee to get a better view. But - of course - in the meantime the situation changend, the clouds blurred and it was less dramatic as before. But I had to take the picture anyway (in fact the pictures - it's a lightroom pano of 2 photos, because I had only the 35mm with me).

The whole area should be covered with snow in December, but it's too warm. Sunny spots on the Lake of Thoune, in the foreground Oberhofen with the castle, on the other side of the lake Spiez, Krattigen and Aeschi. The highest mountains are hidden behind the clouds.
